Bruce Williams

Bruce Williams was born in Bexar County, Texas in the Year of the Golden Dragon. He earned a B.A. from the University of Arkansas and an M.F.A. from Tulane University.
A designer, draftsman, artist and craftsman, Mr. Williams taught fine art at the university level in California for several years. Eventually he migrated to scenic carpentry and founded his own motion picture set shop.
Mr. Williams pursued furniture design and craft as an avocation, studying New Mexican and Spanish Colonial styles.
Since moving to Taos in the early '90s, Mr. Williams has created furniture and architectural details for residential and commercial clients.
